Republic of Gamers Philippines is bringing in their 2025 range of notebooks and desktops into the country. All these devices are powered by the latest Intel and AMD chipsets, as well as NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs to deliver improved graphical horsepower from its predecessors.
Thanks to the RTX 50 series, the 2025 ROG and TUF Gaming notebooks and desktops are able to leverage AI, NVIDIA DLSS 4, Multi Frame Generation with up to 8x uplift in performance, and better AI models for greater image quality and reduced ghosting.
The new Strix Scar 18, Strix Scar 16, Strix G18, and Strix G16 now come with full-surround RGB lighting and tool-less bottom panel. The latter allows you to clean or upgrade RAM and storage without messing about with screws or cables.
All Scar variants have ROG Nebula HDR displays with dual-layer ACR films, which reduces reflection by 55% and boosts contrast.
The lineup come with a wide range of hardware to choose from. The Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX is available on the top-end Strix Scar and Strix G16 and G18, while the G16 can be equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX.

The Intel-based Strix machines have a new sandwiched heatsink design to add heatsink fans to the top and bottom of the new end-to-end vapor chamber. ROG says that this design saves space and increases cooling efficiency. This also allows the notebooks to push up to 255W of power with less noise compared to previous generations.
On the other hand, the 2025 AMD-based Strix G16 is cooled by 7 heatpipes with full-surround vents and full-width heatsink. These are then paired with a tri-fan cooling solution to keep the internals cool.
The 2025 Strix and Strix Scar series start at PhP 134,995 in the Philippines. The top-end Strix Scar 18 can cost up to PhP 359,995 with all the hardware amenities.
