3D QLC enters SATA with the ADATA Ultimate SU630

ADATA has officially launced the ADATA Ultimate SU630 SSD to introduce 3D QLC NAND Flash storage into SATA devices. QLC (Quad-Level Cell) 3D NAND Flash on the SU630 aims to deliver value, great performance, and superb reliability as an alternative to HDDs for users looking for an upgrade.

Available in 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB capacities, the ADATA SU630 can reach up to speeds of up to 520MB/s read and 450MB/s write thanks to SLC-caching. The drive is also shock rated at 1500G/0.5ms and resilient to temperature changes ranging from 0°c – 70°c while being more energy-efficient and quieter compared to traditional HDDs.

The ADATA Ultimate SU630 also supports Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) and Error Correcting Code (ECC). This means that users of the SU630 can detect and fix errors to ensure data integrity and enjoy a longer lifespan. Users can also download ADATA’s SSD Toolbox and Migration Utility for free.

The ADATA Ultimate SU630 is currently priced at USD 49.99, USD 79.99, and USD 139.99 for the 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB variants, respectively. No Philippine price yet has been announced for the SSD but we expect it to enter the market in the near future.
