Four new cameras have arrived in the Philippines courtesy of Canon. Their new set of imaging devices is composed of two new entry-level DSLRs; the 1500D and 3000D, and two mirrorless cameras; the G1X Mark III and the EOS M50.
Canon EOS 3000D
The Canon EOS 3000D uses an 18MP APC-C CMOS sensor and comes with an EF S18-55 III as its kit lens. Like the 1500D, the 3000D comes with a DIGIC 4+ image processor to get better photos.

Canon EOS 1500D
One of the newest beginner DSLRs from Canon, the EOS 1500D can be bought with an EF S18-55 IS II kit lens. The 1500D uses a 24.1MP APS-C CMOS sensor paired with Canon’s DIGIC 4+ image processor. Autofocus is handled by 9-point AF with 1 center cross-type AF point. This camera also support native ISOs of 100 to 6400 that can be extended up to 12800.

Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III
The Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III comes with a 24.2MP APS-C sensor, which is the largest sensor Canon has fitted into a fixed lens camera this small. As a fixed lens camera, the G1 X Mark III comes with a 15 – 45mm lens which can reach up to 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom.
The display is a 3.0-inch TFT screen with has approximately 1.04 million dots while the optical viewfinder at the top is a 0.39-inch screen with around 2.36 million dots.

Canon EOS M50
The newest mirrorless camera in Canon’s EOS range, the M50 comes with 24.1MP APS-C sensor backed up by Canon’s DIGIC 8 processor. The M50 can also take continuous images at 10FPS, 4K videos, while autofocus performance is further improved by Dual Pixel CMOS AF.
The Canon EOS M50 comes with the company’s EF-M mount although other Canon lenses such as EF and EF-S mounts can be used via an adapter.

The Canon EOS M50 will start retailing at a price of PhP 44,498, the PowerShot G1 X Mark III at PhP 64,998 while the EOS 1500D and 3000D’s pricing and availability will be announced soon.
