MSI is showcasing their next generation notebooks at Computex 2023. In their ranks is the Creator Z17 HX Studio, the revamped Alpha 17 and Prestige 16, and the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport.
The Creator Z17 HX Studio leads the charge this year winning the Best Choice Award. It is equipped with up to a 13th Generation Intel Core i9 HX series processor and an NVIDIA Studio verified GPU. It is currently MSI’s thinnest and most powerful Intel HX creator laptop in its ranks.
One of MSI’s surprises this year is their collaboration with Mercedes-AMG. Their partnership resulted in the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport sporting the 13th Generation Intel Core i9 CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU, and a 4K OLED display.
To make the package complete, MSI is bundling exclusive items with the notebook including a mouse, mousepad, USB drive, and pouch.
For business users, the Commercial 14 is a tailor-made solution for enterprises through a series of optional security measures, NFC, and built-in Smart Card Reader. These provide more layers of identity authentication and can be customized as needed.
Aside from its security features, parts of the notebook are made out of post-consumer recycled materials. The keyboard deck is made out of PCR materials while more than 90% of the packaging consists of recycled paper for MSI’s contribution to environmental protection.
The Alpha 17 gets a bit of a makeover thanks to a new AMD Ryzen 7045 Dragon Range CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPU, and a 240Hz QHD display. One of its major upgrades is the Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 WiFi 7. This allows the notebook to take advantage of faster peak speeds of up to 5.8Gbps with latency as low as 2 milliseconds thanks to High Band Simultaneous Multi-Link.
The MSI Prestige 16 weighs only 1.5kg thanks to its magnesium alloy chassis but still packs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPU. It also carries an Intel Evo platform certified CPU, 140W PD3.1 charging, and has been awarded the Red Dot Product Design of 2023.
More details about these notebooks are available via the official MSI website. Pricing and availability in the Philippines are yet to be announced.
