A Plague Tale Requiem Chapter 8 Walkthrough

To La Cuna

1. Explore the ship and interact with the objects. Talk to the Sophia, Hugo, and Arnaud. Fetch Hugo and explore the boat. After wandering around the boat. Talk to Sophia again to dock.
2. Explore the town and just follow the road to the market. Ask around about the location of Hugo’s dream. To the left of the market is a garden. Move towards the upper corner and walk up to the tree to get a piece of Hugo’s Herbarium. Head back to the market.
3. Go the right side of the market and through the arch. Interact with the goats to get a souvenir. Head back to the market.
4. Follow the path up north. Use the path to your left and go to the corner stall for a mini game and another souvenir.
5. Return to the main path. Since you’ve completed all the collectibles in this chapter, there’s nothing left to do but enjoy the sights. Follow the path until you reach the main event.

Betrayal

1. Run away and evade the guards. Turn and use the paths without guards until you reach a door.
2. Go down the stairs and then go left. The door to your right has a hole beside it. Have Hugo go through it and open the door. Get the cart.
3. Place the cart by the railing that you used to enter the area. Climb up it and turn left. Move back down the event area and be wary of the hawk.
4. Use distractions around you to trigger the hawk. Move from cover to cover during its flight. Note that you can trick it continuously by using the same distractions so take advantage of it. Advance till your reach the metal door located at the upper left corner of the area.
5. Go through the metal door and across the small bridge. Advance and watch Arnaud fight.
6. Follow the Count & Countess.

Story Chapter

Chapter 8 is mostly about story and features little gameplay. While there is an exploration part, you can only walk a straight line while doing a bit of detour to get some collectibles. The latter part of this chapter involves a bit of stealth as you evade a keen hawk. After that and it’s just walking till the end of the chapter.

Beware Of The Hawk

The hawk is the main challenge in this chapter. It is so fast that simply peeking out of cover can reward you with a game over screen. Use distractions around you like the metal crates to trigger the hawk and get him to fly. You can use distractions as many times as you want and the hawk will still fall for it, hook line and sinker. While the hawk is flying move to the nearest cover until you reach the metal door.

A Plague Tale Requiem Chapter 8 Collectibles

1 Hugo’s Herbarium

Black kite

Upon entering the market, go to the left side and into the small garden. Navigate your way towards the upper corner and follow it until you see a tree. Interact with the feathers to get a piece of Hugo’s collection.

2 Souvenirs

Silent Lucinda

Upon entering the market, head to the right and through the arch. Move to the goat and interact with it to get this souvenir.

Flower Crown

After exiting the market, use the left path down and go to the corner stall. Interact with the stall to initiate a mini game. Throw four pots through the four flower crowns to get the souvenir.
