According to a third-party survey by GfK, Acer is leading the Philippine market for consumer and gaming notebooks in 2024. They were able to capture a total of 35.7% market share, 34.2% market share in the consumer notebook category, and a 40.6% market share in the gaming notebook category.
The brand says that its growth drivers include best-value offerings, extensive sales coverage, and marketing campaigns. They have also leveraged trends and brand ambassadors such as SB19 and G22 to target a younger demographic.
They have also solidified their position in the gaming category with Predator Gaming and focused on fostering the esports community through events such as the Asia Pacific Predator League.
Another factor contributing to Acer’s success is their nationwide presence. Filipinos are able to experience Acer products at Acer Concept Stores and authorized dealers as well as online through their own online store, Lazada, and Shopee.
