Designed for casual gamers that prefer performance and sleek design, the Acer Nitro 5 comes powered by AMD’s Ryzen mobile processors and Radeon graphics.

Inside the Acer Nitro 5 is a Ryzen 7 2700U processor that delivers four-core and eight-thread performance for games and editing. Alongside it is an AMD Radeon RX 560 for pixel pushing prowess. RAM can be upgraded to 32GB of DDR4 memory if you need more RAM for memory-intensive tasks such as editing.

Storage is handled by up to a 512GB SSD for fast boot ups and program launch. Of course, users can monitor the Nitro 5’s CPU and GPU temperature using Acer’s NitroSense as well as adjust the cooling capability of the laptop via the Acer CoolBoost for steady performance.

The Nitro 5’s display uses a 15.6-inch FullHD display for crisp details and brilliant imagery. Meanwhile, audio is handled by Acer’s TrueHarmony technology with Dolby Audio Premium. Ports include a USB Type-C, HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, among others.

The Acer Nitro 5 will retail starting at USD 799 in North Amera. No local price has been unveiled yet. We’ll update you once we know the price of the Nitro 5 in the Philippines.
