Sporting NVIDIA’s Max-Q design, the Acer Predator Triton 700 comes with either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 inside. Either model will come with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ.
The display is a 15.6-inch IPS display. The higher-end model will have a refresh rate of 120Hz while the lower variant will only have a refresh rate of 60Hz both of which will come with NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology for smooth, tearing-free gaming.
The Triton 700 comes with a low-profile mechanical keyboard. The switches are something akin to Cherry MX Blues, which means that the keyboard has a tactile bump and an audible click when actuated. Of course, the keyboard is RGB capable.
Meanwhile, the touchpad has been integrated to the Gorilla Glass window at the top of the keyboard, which is a weird position compared to other notebooks in the market.
The Triton 700 is cooled by twin Aeroblade 3D fans which Acer says sports the thinnest blades in the market at 0.1mm. Despite its diminutive size, the fans give the components 35% improved airflow for better thermal management.
All in all, the Triton 700 with its NVIDIA card inside, an Intel Core i7-7700HQ, low-profile mechanical keyboard, and 15.6-inch IPS 120Hz screen only measures at a height of 18.9mm. As expected from a Max-Q designed notebook. Here are the full specs of the Acer Predator Triton 700:
