Known for their insanity for the Predator 17 X and, more recently, the Predator Orion 9000, Acer decided to dial back the insanity meter a bit and released two desktop PCs based on AMD’s Ryzen processors.

Their new Ryzen-based desktop machines come in two SKUs: the GX-281 Ryzen 7 and the GX-281 Ryzen 5. The former comes with a Ryzen 7 8-core, 12-thread 1700X, a Radeon RX 580, 16GB of DDR4 at 2400MHz, 256GB SSD with a 1TB HDD, Windows 10, and a 24.5-inch 144Hz FreeSync. Meanwhile, the GX-281 Ryzen 5 is equipped  with a Ryzen 5 6-core, 12-thread Ryzen 1600, a Radeon RX 580, 8GB of DDR4, 256GB SSD complemented by a 1TB HDD, Windows 10, and a 23.6-inch 75Hz FreeSync monitor.

The Ryzen 7 variant will be sold at stores at PhP 96,499 while the Ryzen 5 version is priced at PhP 74,999.
