Would you believe that the Xbox 360 was launched over 10 years ago? Yup that’s right. That’s a really long lifespan for any gaming console. But that must come to an end as Microsoft is cutting the cord on our beloved Xbox 360’s manufacturing.

That means the company will no longer be building any Xbox 360 — not that its still sellable to the market. So if you don’t own one, your only chance to play Xbox 360 games is through Microsoft’s growing list of backward-compatible games for their newer Xbox One.

After “78 billion hours of gaming” and “27 billion achievements unlocked”, it really proved that the Xbox 360 had an amazing run in the last 10 years. Kudos to Microsoft for the giving gamers a chance to play the Xbox 360.
