After their acquisition of Nexbit, Razer has been rumored of releasing a gaming-oriented smartphone sometime in the near future. Techbyte was able to get an alleged photo of Razer’s upcoming smartphone, which takes some design cues from Sony’s Xperia lineup.
According to a GFXBench leak, the smartphone will a Qualcomm-based octa-core SoC with Adreno 540 graphics complemented by 8GB of RAM for resource-intensive apps such as games. For the screen, it will have a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440.
The leaked photo points to a dual-camera setup. While the setup is not yet known, it would probably have either a telephoto lens or a RGB + Monochrome setup like the Huawei P10.
We don’t know much about Razer’s upcoming smartphone. Hopefully it will have RGB lighting to match the design of their other peripherals. We’ll update you once we know more about the device.
