ADATA showcases sustainable innovation at CES 2024

-

ADATA, its e-sports brand XPG, industrial embedded storage arm ADATA Industrial, and telematics products and services affiliate ATrack Technology, showcased their new technologies at CES 2024 with their theme “Innovate for the Future.”

The company presented three major themed exhibition areas to demonstrate its solutions, including the “Sustainability and Cooling Exhibition Area” that showcases its development in Gen 5 solid-state drives cooling and a full range of green storage products manufactured from recycled materials.

Its “Smart Living Exhibition Area” presents innovative products and industrial-grade solutions for AI and edge computing. ADATA Industrial creates Compute Express Link (CSL) memory modules while ATrack Technology provides comprehensive solutions incorporation positioning and imaging functions.

Finally, they introduced the XPG Defender WS XXL AI Smart workstation at the “XPGXtreme Gaming Exhibition Area.” XPG also showcases a new series of gaming chassis, thermal solutions, a full range of p power supplies, new gaming laptops, and even gaming peripherals.

One of the Industry’s Most Powerful Patented SSD Cooling and Sustainable Green Storage Solutions

ADATA CES 2024

ADATA has built one of the coolest-running SSDs in the market with the Project NeonStorm Gen5 SSD. It employs a combination of double-layer aluminum alloy air ducts and a liquid cooling system with dual fans. This lowers temperatures by more than 10% compared to fanless setups, and allows stable and continuous read/write performance of up to 14,000/12,000MBps, respectively.

In addition, the Legend 970 Gen5 SSD offers improved heat dissipating efficiency through patended extruded aluminum fins, surface crystallization, and built-in fan. Those who need fast external storage can use the S920 USB4 external SSD and its retractable casing, micro-fan, and patented heat dissipation technology that enables it to achieve read speeds of up to 3,800MBps.

ADATA CES 2024

They will also launch their green storage products – the Project ECO Flip and Project ECO Refresh drives – as a show of their spirit of sustainable management. They say that the cases and their manufacturing techniques produces 85% less carbon dioxide emissions than previous methods. These devices are expected to be packaged using Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified materials.

Smart Living Exhibition for Leading AI Trends

ADATA CES 2024

In response to the trend of AI and smart living, ADATA launched a series of products to embody smart living. Showcased at the exhibit was the 2023 Best Choice Award for its SD 7.0 Express memory card plus the newly launched SD 71 MicroSD Express and SD 8.0 Express Memory cards that can reach up to 1,600/1,300MBps read and write speeds, respectively.

AI-related industries need highly-efficient and durable storage solutions. ADATA’s CXL memory modules to expand server memory capacity by up to 16TB and improve hardware limits for AI and HPC.

Its first industrial-grade overclocked Registered DIMM (R-DIMM) that clocks up to 6400MB/s brings overlocking to industrial-grade memory. As for storage, they have introduced a variety of BiCS5 3D(e)TLC storage products and high DWPD enterprise-level SSDs.

ADATA has also introduced the high-performance enterprise-class PCIe Gen5 SSDs in EDSFF E3.S/E1.S form factors that features the Montitan SM8366 controller and supporting the TCG Opal encryption mechanism and power-off protection technology. This enables smooth server connection during high data flow and provide a strong and stable security mechanism.

ATrack Technlogy, an ADATA affiliate, exhibited their comprehensive solutions combining GPS positioning and AI Vision. The ATrack AW500 smart AI dashcam stands out as it integrates state-of-the-art hardware and AI capabilities to deliver harsh behavior alerts and driving assistance. ATrack devices promises robust edge computing that extends their application industrial domains including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Driver Monitoring Systems.

ATrack integrates precise satellite positioning, LTE wireless communication, and proprietary high-efficiency power-saving technology to produce asset management solutions for long-term and high-frequency information transmission. The AS300 compact asset tracker, the waterproof and long-standby AS500, and the solar-powered AS700 were showcased at CES 2024.

XPG Xtreme Gaming Exhibition with the 2nd Generation Project Zeus AI Workstation

ADATA CES 2024

The XPG Xtreme Gaming Exhibition dedicates itself to its innovation in the gaming space. There are three major areas in the display: XTREME PERFORMANCE WORKSTATIONS, XTREME PERFORMANCE GEAR, and XTREME SAGA, XTREME STYLE. Their next-generation Project Zeus II, the XPG Defender WS XL Smart AI demo showcases a compact design that can run large language models with 150 billion parameters, and the XPG Defender WS XXL made in partnership with EKWB equipped with two XPG Fusion 1600W digital titanium PSUs for a total of 3200W of power.

Enthusiast devices on showcase at the event include the frameless all-glass design XPG Invader X Pro, the USB 4.0-equipped XPG Battle Cruiser II, and the Project NeonMax DDR5 module with 60% of its surface area capable of RGB lighting. Its range of ATX 3.0-compliant PSUs, including their first SFX PSU, shows off the new standard for gaming PCs.

For cooling, XPG flaunted the XPG Hybrid Cooler that promises AIO-level cooling on an air cooler and the XPG Levante Pro with a 3.5-inch LCD screen on the pump that provides real-time monitoring data.

In the trend of integrating AI on systems, XPG has launched the Xenia 16X and Xenia 15G – Intel 14th Generation CPU-powered paired with NVIDIA Ada Lovelace notebooks. The Xenia 15G will have a whopping 24TB SSD and 96GB DRAM for futureproofing.

XPG showcased its new gaming peripherals at CES 2024. The XPG Precog Studio headphones were designed with 4.4 and USB-C connectors for flexibility. The XPG Xtreme Saga-themed XPG MOJO wireless peripheral ecosystem uses ultra-wide band technology to get the best possible response.
