ADATA Technology will team up with its gaming brand XPG and industrial-grade brand AdATA Industrial for Computex 2024. Their theme this year is “Innovate Today, Embrace Tomorrow” where they will be showing off major categories tied to their vision and commitment in the industry including AI Computing, Sustainability and Innovation, and Immersive Reality.

AI Computing – A New Era of Smart AI Storage

XPG brand ambassador Mera will be present in ADATA’s AI Computing section. She is an AI virtual human with a realistic appearance combined with an internal language model. This requires her to have high-performance AI computing components that shows off the brand’s investment in the AI field including workstations, overclocked memory, memory cards, gaming laptops, and industrial solutions.

Highlights of the area include the XPG Defender WS L smart AI workstation geared towards processing and noise reduction. An AI development-focused version of the XPG Xenia 15G will come with 24TB of SSD storage and 96GB of RAM to provide users with data processing speed and capacity.

New generation of memory are in the displays as well including the overclocked DDR5 8000 R-DIMM designed to make AI models run faster plus the latest generation LCAMM2 for high-performance memory fo AI PCs and complex workloads.

LCAMM2 modules comply with JDEC standards. ADATA says that by utilizing LPDDR5/5x DRAM ICs, they can achieve 7,500MT/s. They are available in various capacities including 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. In the near future, they are going to be used to PCs, workstations, and even data centers that might bring change to the PC ecosystem.

For professional-grade storage, ADATA Industrial prioritizes AI computing with three advantages: seamless data connectivity, enhanced high-speed, and strengthened security systems. Various BiCS5 3D€TLC storage products, high DWPD enterprise-class SSDs, and high-performance enterprise NVMe Gen4/Gen5 SSDs show off their advantages and R&D.

Sustainability and Innovation – Sparks in the Green Products Revolution

Their R&D has also been hardware at work in the field of cooling to launch complete DRAM and SSD cooling solutions to solve the thermal issues caused by high-speed storage. The XPG Lander Neon RGB DDR5 uses a heat dissipation coating on the PCB, a heatsink with 50% recycled PCR materials, and environmentally-friendly in-mold transfer process to be an eco-friendly RGB memory.

Meanwhile, the Project NeonStorm PCIe Gen5 SSD adopts a patented dual cooling system that combines a double-layer aluminum alloy air duct, a liquid cooling system, and dual-fans to increase its cooling efficiency by 10 percent. On the other hand, the Legend 970 Pro PCIe Gen5 SSD that boasts read and write speeds of up to 14,000MB/s and 12,000MB/s, respectively, uses a double-layer extruded aluminum heatsink and an internal micro fan to improve heat dissipation by up to 20 percent.

ADATA is using 85% recycled plastic on its EC600 2.5-inch enclosure to reduce emissions by 74 percent. This allows disks to have new life while extending its product life cycle. The UC320 flash drive is expected to contain 85% PCR plastic to reduce carbon emissions by up to 68 percent.

The XPG Invader X mid-tower gaming chassis won the 2024 iF Design Award for its environmentally friendly features. The case is pre-installed with reverse spinning fans to optimize cooling while its simple design comes across as an aesthetic. They’ve also expanded their lineup of cooling solutions to include the XPG Hydro CPU air cooler and Hurricane Mag. Completing the XPG series is the Levante II AIO, Vento 120 ARGB PWN fans.

Immersive Reality – Upgrades to Gaming and Smart Tech Lifestyles

In addition to its range of mobile peripherals, ADATA will be launching a gaming handheld at Computex 2024. Dubbed the XPG NIA, it promises superior ergonomics with a circular computing design to create a comfortable experience. It will also use EYEWEAR eye-tracking technology that lets you enjoy an immersive gaming experience anywhere.

XPG will be presenting the newly launch Invader X gaming chassis including the Invader X BTF, Invader X Pro BTF, and Invader X Mini. They will also be demoing their PRECOG STUDIO gaming headset, Xtreme Saga Editions of the Frontline XL mousepad, ATX 3.0 and 3.1 PSUs including the Fusion 1600W Titanium built in collaboration with DELTA Electronics, and their first SFX Platinum PSU.
