The most recent addition of advertisements in Facebook are video ads that are annoying themselves as they tend to pop-up randomly and in the middle of the video you are watching. This time, however, the social media giant pushing advertisements even further by implementing them in its own Messenger.

The advertisements will be integrated to the Messenger app so they fit in with the design. They will still be noticeable, however, with the ads taking up a large amount of space in the chat box. The ads can be hidden but we all know that’s a futile attempt as another ad will replace it in a few minutes.

These advertisements will see the light of day within a few weeks. Facebook is aiming to achieve a full coverage around the world by the end of the year. Meanwhile, our friends from Australia and Thailand have already received this “feature” back in January.
