Vivo had made great strides to improve the design of smartphones with their showing of the Vivo APEX FullView concept at MWC 2018. The APEX, however, is still a concept smartphone. Spotted in an advertisement in Indonesia, the Vivo V9 may just be going mainstream with a notched display.

Aside from the notched display and a 24MP front-facing camera, there are no details yet about the upcoming Vivo V9. There are rumors that the V9 could have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. But since there’s already an advertisement for it, it would probably just a short wait until the V9 is officially announced.
