Age of Sigmar Skaventide Box Announced – Pricing & Release Date

After years of waiting, we finally get a new launch box, Skaventide, to coincide with the new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. As always, launch boxes typically contain loads of miniatures and manuals to help jump start a battle. With the official announcement of Age of Sigmar Skaventide, we now have an idea on the box contents, what miniatures are included, miniature count, and release date.

Age of Sigmar Skaventide Box Details

Box Contents

There are two factions contained in the Skaventide box: the Stormcast Eternals and the Skaven. Both factions boast a large number of miniatures packed into this single box, and not only that but you also get some terrain, books, and cards.

Skaventide Stormcast Eternals Miniatures

There are a total of 24 Stormcast Eternals minis in the Skaventide box:

1. Lord-Vigilant on Gryph-stalker x 1
2. Lord-Terminos x 1
3. Lord-Terminos Companions x 1
4. Lord Veritant x 1
5. Lord Veritant Gryph-crow x 1
6. Knight-Questor x 1
7. Reclusians x 3
8. Memorians x 2
9. Prosecutors x 3
10. Liberators x 10

Skaventide Skaven Miniatures

There are a total of 50 Skaven Miniatures in the Skaventide Box:

1. Clawlord on Gnaw-Beast x 1
2. Grey Seer x 1
3. Warlock Engineer x 1
4. Ratling Warpblaster x 1
5. Rat Ogors x 3
6. Warplock Jezzails x 3
7. Clan Rats x 40

Aside from the minis, you also get the following:

Age of Sigmar Skaventide Box Release Date

No official release date as of yet but we can expect the Skaventide box to arrive within 2024. We will update this part of the article once we get clear confirmation of the dates in each region.

Age of Sigmar Skaventide Box Pricing

We can expect the pricing of the Age of Sigmar Skaventide box to be similar to that of the Warhammer 40,000 Leviathan launch box set. The Leviathan box was priced at US$245 / £150. Locally here in the Philippines, we have yet to hear of its official launch price.

Note that Games Workshop recently announced that there will be a price increase. Expect the price of the box to be a bit higher than previous launch sets.

Age of Sigmar Skaventide Box – How To Pre-Order

While not yet available via online shops, you can actually ask your nearest FLGS to order for you once pre-order becomes available. In this way, you can secure a copy with less hassle as you readily have a box ordered for you. Note that there might be some downpayments involved in pre-ordering these premium boxes.
