Today, Razer announced the new version of their famous Blade laptop with some major changes. It has upgraded components, a lighter body and a lowered priced for their higher configurations. The Razer Blade is designed for gamers who want to play graphic-intensive games on-the-go. The new Blade has two configurations available for preorder: the 256GB storage variant for $1,999 (around Php94,000) and a 512GB variant for $2,199 (around Php104,000) which starts today and expected to arrive on April.

Both variants of the new Razer Blade is packed with Intel’s sixth-generation Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, Nvidia’s GeForce GTX970M graphics card with a display the features a 14-inch, 3200 X 1800 touchscreen panel. The design of the new Blade is still the same compared from its predecessor but they somehow removed a quarter pound weight on the body making it much lighter.

Just like the much thinner Razer Blade Stealth, they also announced that the new Blade is compatible with the Razer Core — an external graphics card that you can connect via USB Type C Thunderbolt 3 port. It also has their signature Chroma Keyboard where you can individually change the color of each key of the keyboard.

There’s still no news on the availability of the Razer Blade here in The Philippines.
