An alleged dummy unit of the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 Pro has been sighted in Weibo. Despite being a month away from the official announcement of Huawei’s latest flagship series, this leak could cement the final design of the Mate 20 Pro.
Based on previous reports as well as the leaked photo, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will now come with a curved OLED display. With this new display, Huawei was able to minimize the bezels from the Mate 20 Pro. The notch, however, still remains relatively large compared to recent outings from OPPO, which had a “waterdrop” design that reduced the footprint of the notch.
Prior leaks say that the Huawei Mate 20 series will have a Kirin 980 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone may also come with a 4,200mAh battery charged via a USB Type-C port as well as wireless charging.
As far as cameras go, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will still have a triple camera setup with a 40MP RGB camera, a 20MP monochrome lens, and an 8MP telephoto shooter.
