AMD has officially announced that they will be adding two new sets of processors to their PRO lineup: the second generation Ryzen Pro and the Athlon Pro. These processors will allow their partners such as HP and Lenovo to provide power-efficient performance and the battery life to get users through the day.
Both the second generation Ryzen Pro and Athlon Pro come with Radeon Vega Graphics to provide better GPU performance in commercial notebooks.
Both sets of processors will allow commercial notebooks to have power-efficient performance, state-of-the-art security features, and commercial-grade reliability and manageability.
Built using a 12nm lithography, the second generation Ryzen Pro 3000 series mobile processors promise increased productivity with 16% better multi-threading performance.
Ryzen Pro 3000 processors are also capable of providing 12 hours of general office use or 10 hours of playback, 14% content creation via the integrated Radeon Vega graphics.

These processors will also allow its partners like HP and Lenovo to create systems ranging from premium professional notebooks to everyday productivity notebooks. Their partners and other participating OEMs are expected to release notebooks based on AMD’s new PRO processors within the quarter.
