AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT, and RX 6650 XT now official

AMD is updating their Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs with three new cards: the RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT, and RX 6650 XT. They are designed to refresh the series with slightly improved performance and features while still being based on the RDNA 2 architecture.

The AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT will now act as the flagship of the series packing 16GB of GDDR6 memory, 80 compute units, and a higher rated boost clock of around 2310MHz. The RX 6750 XT is the high-performance 1440p card while the RX 6650 XT is placed at 1080p with clock speeds of around 2635MHz.

Alongside the cards’ release is the rollout of the first games to support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0. One of the first games to support the feature is DEATHLOOP by Arcane Studios and Bethesda with updates rolling out on May 12. 2022.

More games are planning to support FSR 2.0 including Asterigos, Delysium, EVE Online, Farming Simulator 22, Forspoken, Grounded, Microsoft Flight Simulator, NiShuiHan, Perfect World Remake, Swordsman Remake, and Unknown 9: Awakening.

Pricing and Availability

The AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT will start at $1,099, RX 6750 XT at $549, and RX 6650 XT at $399 starting today May 10, 2022. AMD’s AIB partners including ASRock, ASUS, BIOSTAR, Gigabyte, MSI, Sapphire, PowerColor, and Yeston will be releasing their respective variants of the cards.

AMD has also announced that the AMD Radeon Raise the Game bundle will be coming back to select AMD Radeon RX 6000 series devices. Customers who will get a qualifying Radeon device from a participating retailer beginning May 10, 2022 will get a code that can be redeemed when the promo launches later this quarter. Complete details will be provided at a later time but the bundle will come with future Saints Row and Sniper Elite 5 titles.
