AMD has announced today that they are releasing the AMD Radeon RX 590. Based on the Polaris architecture with a 12nm lithography, the new RX 590 was designed to deliver amazing gaming experiences and outstanding performance for the latest triple-A, eSports, and Virtual Reality games.
Despite being based on the same Polaris architecture as the AMD RX 580, the RX 590 still promises faster clock speeds and higher gaming performance than its predecessor by up to 20 percent. With a 12nm lithography, which includes the 4th generation GCN graphics cores, display engine, and multimedia cores; the RX 590 aims to provide great performance in low-level APIs such as DirectX12 and Vulkan.
As with most AMD cards found on the market, the RX 590 supports AMD Radeon FreeSync to alleviate tearing in games. The RX 590 also supports AMD Radeon FreeSync 2 HDR that can offer up to twice the brightness and color volume compared to sRGB.
The RX 590 is compatible with the latest VR titles to deliver rich and immersive environments during gameplay. AMD’s LiquidVR also provides broad compatibility, plug-and-play ease of use, and stable platform support for the new wave of advanced VR vendors and technologies.
Getting an AMD Radeon RX 590 can also net its users up to three free games with the Raise the Game Fully Loaded bundle. This bundle, aside from the card, comes with Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5, and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Check out what cards and bundles are available via AMD’s website.
The AMD Radeon RX 590 is now available worldwide starting at USD 279 (PhP 15,000) from their leading add-in board partners, including ASUS, PowerColor, Sapphire, and XFX.
