When you say a gaming laptop, it’s a growing category for all laptop brands to participate. We have Acer Predator, ASUS ROG, MSI, HP Omen, Lenovo Legion, Razer, Dell, Alienware and more, all these are fighting for the top spot for the best gaming weapon.
Last year, ASUS unleashed the GX700 where it features the World’s 1st water cooled gaming laptop which uses a unique dock. It was reported recently to drop 100k from its price, making it now available for Php149,995. This is to make way of the new ASUS GX800 gaming laptop which was just recently launched.
Featured monitors are two ASUS MX34V curved monitor for dual QHD gaming screens.
The GX800 features a dramatic improvement from the GX700. It now features a mechanical-like keyboard, 4K screen, Thunderbolt Type-C ports, latest Core i7-7820HK processor and dual GTX 1080 8GB DDR5X graphics.
Aside from having monster specifications, the GX800 is the only one among SLI-enabled laptops today to have a water-cooling technology. This means that the GX800’s size isn’t compromised as compared to the MSI Titan GT83VR or Acer Predator 21x, you can just dock it when needed.
ASUS ROG GX800VH Specifications:
Aside from the GX800, ASUS ROG also launched their latest laptops including the single GTX 1080 G752, G702 and GL 502 series. Completing the ROG lineup are the ROG peripherals, ROG GT51 Desktop and the new ROG XG 2 Station external graphics dock.
Last 2016 ASUS achieved shipping in more than 20,000 units of ROG laptops. ROG aims to continue growing the market by making this goal into 50,000 units this 2017. This will be through better marketing and wider configurations for gaming for all. Congrats to ASUS for their continuous success with ROG and hope that they can continue the momentum despite the rising challenges ahead in the gaming industry.
