The Apple iPhone 13 and 13 Mini has been officially unveiled. Both come with the new A15 Bionic chip that promises better performance, battery life, and 5G.. Their imaging systems have been improved to include 4k60 HDR, Night Mode on all cameras, and even Rack Focus on its Cinematic Mode.
Both smartphones ship with a new Wide Camera with bigger pixels and OIS for better low-light photos and videos. Their displays are the brighter 6.1 or 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR display with a Ceramic Shield front cover for additional durability.
Their chassis are also made to endure IP68 water and dust resistance. Meanwhile, battery life has been upgraded to add two and a half more compared to the iPhone 12 for the iPhone 13 while the iPhone 13 Mini can outlast its predecessor by an hour and a half.
These devices also come with the ability to use Rack Focus on Cinematic Mode. Additionally, videos can be recorded up to 4K at 60fps on all their cameras. Meanwhile, Cinematic Mode can also take advantage of Dolby Vision HDR recordings.
The Apple iPhone 13 and 13 Mini will start at a base 128GB storage at USD 699 and USD 799, respectively. Users can spec their devices up to 512GB of internal storage. The two will be available for pre-order starting September 17 and will be widely available on September 24, 2021 at the Apple Store.
Pricing in the Philippines is set starting at PhP 44,990 for the iPhone 13 Mini and PhP 50,990 for the iPhone 13 at the base 128GB option. Going all out for the 512GB variant will cost users PhP 63,990 and PhP 69,990, respectively.
