To celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity, strategic mobile RPG Arknights pledges to help protect nature by collaborating with the global conservation organization, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), in a unique charity event called “Coexistence”. The event aims to increase awareness for snow leopards and their habitats as well as raise funds for WWF’s conservation work. The event will start on May 19th at 04:00 (UTC – 7) and last until June 2nd at 03:59 (UTC – 7). The event also introduces Purestream, a new operator.

Arknights Purestream Operator
During the event, two packs will be available in the store for players to obtain new Operator Purestream, and special coexistence login rewards will be available. Players can claim rewards from the range of Elite Material and Orundum to Cliffheart’s new outfit [Highlands Visitor] by logging into the game for 7 days.
The total donation gathered from packs (minus channel fees) will be redistributed to WWF to support their conservation efforts. Arknights and Yostar wish to further their partnership with existing organizations protecting wildlife and nature.
The Arknights team visited one of the snow leopard conservation centres in Wolong, China to discover the importance of wildlife protection and ecosystem. With only up to 6,600 left in the wild in 12 range countries, snow leopards are threatened by hunting, habitat loss and retaliatory killings. They play a key role as both top predator and as an indicator of the health of their high-altitude habitat. If snow leopards thrive, so will countless other species.
WWF’s work focuses on reducing human-leopard conflict and rural development, education for sustainable development, stopping mining in fragile snow leopard habitat, and the control of the illegal wildlife trade.
