Armor In Ghost of Yotei

Adds Passive Benefits & Modifications

Upgrade armor to increase stats

Armors add passive benefits to Atsu as long as you wear them. Each armor has three effects, save for the Fundoshi, and all are already unlocked by default. However, you can upgrade each armor to increase their benefits. One upgrade is an increase to one perk. You can upgrade your armor by visiting Ginji in any available inns in Ghost of Yotei.

Can Change Color

Dye Merchants

You can also personalize the armors in Ghost of Yotei by purchasing them from merchants and or completing quests. Additional colors can also be unlocked by visiting dye merchants around Hokkaido. During your adventures, be on the look out for quest givers to increase your collection of possible colors.

Upgrades Add More Flair

Aside from the passive benefits, upgrades also add more detail to Atsu’s armor. This not only affects the armor but also the headgear and in some cases, masks or facewear. If you want to have an armor that has more flair to it, best upgrade as soon as you can!

Ghost of Yotei is now out on the PS5 and you can purchase it either online via the official PS5 product page or via your local game stores.
