Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on Nintendo Switch™ 2 on December 2, 2025. Optimized for all play modes, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will let players enjoy the game seamlessly at home or on the go. It will also include touch screen support, making navigation of menus, maps and the hideout more intuitive than ever.

At launch, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will include all content updates introduced since the game’s release, with only the ‘Claws of Awaji’ expansion arriving early next year.

Available In Physical & Digital Editions

Nintendo Switch 2 owners can purchase the game on launch day. It will be available in a physical edition including a Nintendo Switch 2 game-key card or through a download from the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will support cross-progression across all platforms through Ubisoft Connect. This ensures players can continue their journey seamlessly across platforms.
