With AMD announcing their 3rd generation Ryzen processors, their partners will surely release their newest X570 motherboards. This time around, ASUS is unleashing a ton of AMD X570 motherboards in order to cater to their customer’s needs.
The ROG branding will be front and center in ASUS’ premium motherboards. With a total of six motherboards available in the ROG lineup, customers will surely find a motherboard that will suit their needs.
The ROG Crosshair branding is making a comeback in the X570 era. Composed of three motherboards: the Formula, Hero, and Impact, the new Crosshair boards are designed to hit the fastest speeds in AMD’s 3rd generation Ryzen motherboards.
Leading the Crosshair pack is the Formula, which packs an armor-clad design and a liquid cooling ready design for the top-end enthusiasts. On its flank is the Hero for a no-nonsense approach for overclocking.
Meanwhile, the ROG Crosshair VIII Impact makes its debut with a Mini-DTX design. Essentially a longer ITX board, the Impact offers all the space-saving features found on an ITX board with better overclocking and audio signature. ASUS is also offering compatibility to most ITX cases in the market.
Just below the Crosshair lineup is the ROG Strix series of motherboards. While less exotic than the previous lineup, ROG Strix motherboards will still offer the performance and style that top-end motherboards offer.
The ROG Strix lineup will offer two ATX-sized motherboards: the ROG Strix X570-E and the X570-F Gaming. For those looking for a traditional ITX motherboards, the ROG Strix X570-I is looking like a strong contender.
For those looking for a budget-friendly option, the ASUS TUF Gaming offers the essential gaming features while cutting down on the extras that might go unused. The X570 platform from ASUS will only carry two ATX motherboards for the TUF series: the TUF Gaming X570-Plus and the TUF Gaming X570-Plus WiFi.
Aside from WiFi capabilities, both motherboards are essentially the same. Both will come with digital VRM and Dr. MOS power stages and TUF chokes to ensure that the CPU gets clean and steady power from the PSU. Its TUF capacitors promises up to 20% higher heat tolerance to keep your system stable.
The ASUS Pro and Prime series X570 motherboards offer professionals the chance to experience AMD’s 3rd generation Ryzen processors. The ASUS Pro WS X570-ACE, Prime X570-P and the Prime X570-PRO comes with PCIe 4.0 connections and ECC RAM support.
These motherboards sack the traditional black and red colors in lieu of a white and black color scheme to give off a professional look to its customers.
The 3rd generation AMD Ryzen processors and X570 motherboards are expected to hit the market on July 7, 2019.
