ASUS celebrates 30th anniversary with Edition 30 devices

-

In celebration of their 30th anniversary, ASUS has announced three limited edition 30 devices in Computex 2019. Composed of the ZenBook Edition 30, ZenFone 6 Edition 30, and Prime X299 Edition 30, these three devices encapsulate the brand’s hard work in the industry.

ASUS ZenBook Edition 30

The ASUS ZenBook Edition 30 is the finest ZenBook yet from the brand. The notebook comes with in a Pearl White colorway with genuine Italian leather for a traditional yet futuristic design.

To complete its aesthetic, the ASUS ZenBook Edition 30 will come with a Pearl White mouse, a leather-look box and mouse pad with a genuine leather notebook sleeve.

Inside its gorgeous exterior is an Intel 8th generation Core i7 quad-core processor, an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and PCIe SSDs. Its screen comes with the brand’s trademark NanoEdge display with a 95% screen-to-body ratio.

Like the latest VivoBooks, the notebook will also come with the new ScreenPad 2.0 to complete the experience. The ScreenPad will act as a shortcut menu, a secondary monitor, and a track pad in just one package.

ASUS ZenFone 6 Edition 30

Launched just a few weeks ago, the ASUS ZenFone 6 is now receiving a limited edition 30 variant. The smartphone still comes with all the flagship-class components as the other models such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip, 5,000mAh battery, Smart Key Button, and a 48MP f/1.7 + 13MP flip camera.

To separate itself from the pack, the ASUS ZenFone 6 Edition 30 is packed with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The rear has also been redesigned to carry the ASUS 30th anniversary logo.

ASUS Prime X299 Edition 30

ASUS was originally a PC company before it decided to challenge the notebook and smartphone market. As such, the ASUS Prime X299 Edition 30 honors the brand’s legacy of innovation and performance in the motherboard segment.

Based on the X299 platform from Intel, the ASUS Prime X299 Edition 30 supports Intel Core X high-end processors, which features a high core count and performance. The board also has a 16-stage power solution and better cooling performance to enable processors to reach their full potential.

In addition for better performance, the motherboard comes with two passively cooled M.2 slots, dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, and DisplayPort input ports. It is also packed with 5G Aquantia Ethernet, Intel Gigabit LAN, and WiFI 6.

To add a bit of flare, the Prime X299 Edition 30 is equipped by a 2.0-inch LiveDash OLED display to monitor clock speeds, temperature, and voltages for a seamless overclocking experience.

An additional LiveDash display has also been thrown in with the new Smart Console. This additional console connects via USB and is designed to be attached at the top of monitors. This will display system information and enables voice and hand-gesture controls.

ASUS hasn’t indicated as to when these three devices will arrive in the market. As with most devices announced in Computex, we expect these products to hit the market sometime on Q3 or Q4.
