ASUS is expanding its offerings of AI-powered notebooks and business offerings driven by their vision of “Ubiquitous AI.” This time around, they are launching the lightweight ZenBook A14 and new entries into the Vivobook series powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X platform, and new enterprise-grade solutions with AI integration.
The ASUS ZenBook A14 is set to be one of the lightest Copilot+ notebooks from the company. At under 1kg thanks to its Ceraluminum chassis, the notebook fits in the Snapdragon X series chip and a 70Whr battery. This pairing enables the laptop to last up to 32 hours on a single charge.
Its chip comes with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU with 45 TOPS that enables the notebook to have enhanced AI features such as Live Captions, Cocreator, Generative Fill, Restyle Image, Image Center, and Super Resolution. More AI features will be available in the future like Recall, Click to Do, and Improved Windows search.
The notebook will also come with a dual fan design for maximum thermal performance, enhanced privacy features like adoptive lock and multi-person detection, a full range of I/O ports to ensure connectivity.
The ASUS ZenBook A14 will retail starting at USD 899.
The Vivobook series are also getting new models at CES 2025. The lineup is being refreshed with the Vivobook 14 X1407QA and Vivobook 16 X1607QA. Both will come with a Snapdragon X processor with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for 45 TOPS of AI processing power.
ASUS says that the notebook offers a 44% performance boost compared to previous generations of notebooks and up to 19.8 hours of battery life. Its AI capabilities will include Live Caption, Cocreator, Generative Fill and Erase, and the ASUS-exclusive StoryCube app that categorizes content for easier organization.
The notebook will come with two USB4 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, HDMI, and a 3.5mm combo jack.
The Vivobook 14 X1407QA and Vivobook 16 X1607QA will come in Cool Silver and Quiet Blue variants with the former getting an exclusive Platinum Gold colorway. Prices start at USD 699.
The ExpertBook B3 (B3405/B3605) and ExpertBook B5 (B5405/B5605) are designed as enterprise solutions for professioanls. They come with up to an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, dual SSD and SO-DIMM slots, and up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM.
Their low-resistance airflow cooling system reduce fan noise and maximizes thermal efficiency, which extends lifespan by up to 40% compared to the previous generation or consumer-standard solutions without sacrificing performance.
These notebooks ensure enterprise-grade security with dual BIOS, Intel vPro, TPM, and NIST SP 800-155 compliant BIOS recovery. Additional features such as ASUS Business Manager and ASUS Control Center streamline IT management.
The ASUS ExpertCenter B900 series (B900MF/B900SF) are the first ASUS commercial AI desktops. They come with Intel Core Ultra 200S series that provides them with a dedicated NPU for AI tasks.
They feature support for Intel vPro Enterprise, TPM 2.0, and BIOS/HDD passwords for enterprise-grade security. You also get a Kensington Security slot and military-grade durability compliant with MIL-STD-810H for enhanced physical security.
These desktops can be managed through MyASUS, ASUS Control Center, ASUS Business Manager, and ASUS BIOS. They are tool-free by design for easy upgrades and maintenance to allow organizations to adapt system to their needs.
The ASUS ExpertCenter PN54 is a mini PC that packs up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 with 45+ NPU tops in a 0.5L chassis. It comes with six USB ports, dual 2.5G LAN ports, and WiFi 7 for expansive connectivity. Its chassis is designed to be tool-less to allow you to upgrade storage and memory down the road.
AI integration is also making its way to ASUS range of NUCs. The NUC 15 Pro comes with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 pocessor with Intel AI Boost, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. ASUS Power Sync allows its power to be integrated to compatible ASUS monitors for seamless management.
The NUC 15 Pro+ and the NUC 14 Pro AI+ both come with a beefier Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 2 processor. As for memory, they can be outfitted with up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and LPDDR5X 8533MT/s, respectively.
