ASUS has officially announced that they are dropping the price of the ZenFone 5Q from PhP 16,995 on its launch date to just PhP 14,995. With a PhP 2,000 off the original asking price, the ZenFone 5Q now offers a cheaper alternative to those who would like to feel the ZenFone experience.

Launched alongside the ZenFone 5 and 5Z, the ZenFone 5Q sticks to a more traditional 6.0-inch IPS 18:9 display instead of a notched 19:9 screen. The 5Q also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC with 4GB of RAM running on Android 7.1.1 with ZenUI 4.0.

The ASUS ZenFone 5Q is also the first smartphone from the brand to carry four cameras. The rear shooters are composed of a 16MP primary powered by a Sony IMX 376 sensor and a 5MP wide-angle camera. The front, meanwhile, is populated by a 20MP main camera and an 8MP wide-angle secondary shooter.
