ASUS IoT has announced an agreement with Google to become the OEM and business partner for Coral Products. The agreement is forged on the foundation of ASUS IoT’s strength in sales scale and ability to assure long-term availability, along with its extensive experience in establishing manufacturing and distribution processes.
ASUS IoT was the first partner to release a product utilizing Coral SoM, the Tinker Edge T development board. It had integrated Coral accelerators into multiple enterprise-class intelligent edge computers. They are also was the first brand to release a multi-Edge TPU device, the AI Accelerator PCIe card.
As the brand’s name suggests, ASUS IoT dedicates its efforts in IoT and AI solutions. They provide embedded systems and partner to the wider AIoT solutions ecosystem.
Coral, on the other hand, launched in 2019 to make powerful, private, and efficient edge AI. They are also Google’s platform for Edge AI. The company aims to deliver an accessible platform of affordable tools that can reliably go from prototype to production. Their AI technology allows for new possibilities in various industries.
Coral.ai will remain the home for all product information and documentation while ASUS IoT will become the primary channel for sales, distribution, and support. With this partnership, customers will gain access to dedicated teams for sales and technical support managed by ASUS IoT.
