Board partners are now providing their X570, B550, and A520 motherboards with BIOS updates to be compatible with AMD’s Zen 3-based Ryzen 5000 series processors. Fortunately, ASUS has released a list of all their motherboards that will be compatible at launch.

ASUS will also be introducing three new motherboards this generation: the ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero, TUF Gaming X570-Pro WiFi, and the TUF Gaming X570-Pro WiFi, and the ROG Strix B550-XE Gaming WiFi. Meanwhile, the AMD Ryzen 5000 series are expected to hit shelves on November 5, 2020.
X470 and B450 platforms are also expected to support the upcoming Zen 3 processors but their BIOS updates may see a beta release on January 2021.
