As tradition, ASUS has announced several new peripherals to add on their lineup at CES 2023. This time around, they are partnering with Aim Lab with their new mouse and mouse pad as well as introducing a new hot-swappable keyboard with an OLED display, a new gaming chair, and a dedicated PC controller.
The ROG Azoth is a 75% wireleless custom gaming keyboards with premium features according to ASUS. It has a metal top cover with silicone gasket mount and three-layer dampening, hot-swappable and factory-lubed ROG NX mechanical switches, ROG stabilizers, and ROG PBT doubleshot keycaps.
If that’s not enough, the company is throwing in an OLED display with intuitive controls, tri-mode connectivity with support for SpeedNova 2.4GHz wireless, MacOS support, and is bundling the keyboard with a lube kit for further customization.
ROG is partnering with Aim Lab with the new ROG Harpe and ROG Hone Ace. The former is its new gaming mouse aimed for enthusiasts and esports athletes weighing in at only 54g and a shell made out of a bio-based nylon material. Inside is a 36,000 DPI AimPoint optical sensor and ROG Micro Switches that promises up to 70 million-click lifespan.
The ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition is designed to work with Aim Lab X ROG 360 task within the Aim Lab software to improve aim for FPS players. It measures 508 x 420mm and comes with a hybrid cloth surface to offer optimal friction and a protective nano-coating to repel water, oil, and dust.
The ROG Raikiri Pro is one of the first Xbox-licensed tri-mode controller that allows connection via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, or wired USB-C. This range of connectivity makes it perfect for PC gaming, laptops, or next-generation Xbox consoles.
The controller has an OLED display that can show custom images, text, or animation. The screen can also show charging status, mic mute, or profile indicators. Users can switch controller profiles via two buttons on the controller itself even in the middle of the game.
It can be customized via the Armoury Crate software. The software allows for allocation of hotkeys, joystick sensitivity, adjust deadzones, and tweak the vibration motor. If that’s not enough, the Raikiri also has a built-in ESS DAC for better audio.
The ROG Destrier is an ergonomic gaming chair with a futuristic that’s on-brand for the company. It promises excellent adjustability to ensure maximum comfort during play. It has head and lumber support, and padded armrests that have a special elevation mode for mobile gaming. There is also a detachable acoustic panel to shield gamers from external distractions.
The ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition, ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition, and ROG Azoth will be available in the Philippines in mid Q1 2023. Pricing are as follows:
Pricing for the ROG Raikiri Pro and ROG Destrier are yet to be announced but ASUS is promising that they will arrive in the Philippines in the future.
