ASUS has launched a new range of OLED notebooks at their Thincredible event. These laptops can be equipped with the brand’s new Lumina OLED displays, ASUS IceCool technology, and durable yet unique designs.
The star of the show is the ZenBook S 13 OLED UM3504. Despite packing an Intel Core i7-13550U and up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, they have managed to squeeze down its chassis to only 1cm thin and 1kg light. It will also come complete a plethora of ports including Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm combo jack.
Backing the ultraportable is the ZenBook 14X OLED UX3404 with up to an Intel Core i9-13900H and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and the ZenBook 14 Flip OLED UP3404 convertible that packs up to an Intel Core i5-1360P and a 14.0-inch 2880 x 1800 OLED screen.
These new notebooks will be using the new Lumina OLED standard from ASUS. This is their new sweeping marketing term for select OLED screens that will offer Pantone Validated panels, VESA DisplayHDR True Black, Delta E < 1*4, ASUS Splendid Color-Gamut Management, OLED Power Saving, OLED Care Burn-In Prevention, and ASUS Tru2Life technology. The company will also be offering free OLED screen exchange for any burn-in issues during the warranty period.
Also at the launch is the ASUS VivoBook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition born from their partnership with A Bathing Ape (BAPE). This is BAPE’s first team up with a brand to launch a notebook just in time for their 30th anniversary. The notebook will be combining their vibrant style with new colorways and bundled accessories including a carry bag, mouse, figurines, and more.
