ASUS has showcased two new cooling solutions at Computex 2023 – the ASUS ProArt LC 420 and their own ROG Thermal Paste.
The ASUS ProArt LC 420 is the first cooler with the ProArt branding. As its name suggests, it sports a 420mm radiator cooled by three NOCTUA 140mm Chromax Fans. Its pipes are armored with black braided sleeves.
Its water block is slightly less futuristic than the ASUS ROG Ryujin III series AIOs but instead features a more minimalist aluminum finish. There are some LED lights at the front presumably to measure system thermals as well as the ProArt branding.
One of the few surprises from ASUS at the Computex floor is its own ROG Thermal Paste. Details are still sparse for their thermal paste but since it is being branded as an ROG product, we expect top-notch performance and price. They have not disclosed who they are collaborating with for this product but given their current partnership with Noctua, it is possible that they are using their partner’s thermal paste.
