ASUS is now introducing its first premium gaming chassis, the ROG Strix Helios. Packed with top-end features such as a comprehensive cable management system, RGB lighting, and space to pack-in water-cooling setups, the Helios is ready to house your brand new gaming rig.
Designed to fully showcase your build, the ROG Strix Helios comes with a 4mm-thick, smoked tempered glass panels on a brushed aluminum frame.
The RGB LEDs are fully addressable and is customizable to the color you prefer. Of course, it does support AURA Sync to allow you to synchronize the RGB lighting across all AURA Sync-compatible peripherals and components.
If you want to show off your GPU, the ROG Strix Helios has an optional dual vertical GPU mounting. It also comes with fabric handles that have been rated for up to 50kg of load so you can carry and display your rig anywhere you like.
Cable management has been made easier on the ROG Strix Helios with its flexible covers and built-in cable management system to keep its interior clean. You can also adjust the GPU braces to hide the cables while providing support to your video cards.
A two-piece GPU shroud with a front cut-out was added to be fully compatible with RGB power supplies, the ASUS ROG Thor, or other OLED_integrated power supplies.
To make rig building easier, ASUS ROG has provided a tool-less access to the interior. Its bottom panels are bottom-hinged, which will allow it to be opened while simultaneously holding them in place until they are ready to be detached.
The chassis supports up to 420mm front radiators and 360mm top radiators. The top, bottom, and undersides come with removable dust filter. As for I/O, the ROG Strix Helios comes with a USB 3.1 Type-C port as well as controls for fan speed and RGB lighting.
The ASUS ROG Strix Helios will be available in stores starting April 12, 2019 with an asking price of PhP 16,800.
