First seen back in Computex 2018, ASUS ROG is now dipping their toes in the power supply market. The ASUS ROG Thor one of the first PSUs in the market that allows its users to see their power consumption on the fly via an OLED screen on the PSU.
Available in 1200W and 850W variants, the ASUS ROG Thor uses custom ROG heatsinks that promises twice more surface area compared to conventional designs. This means that even when under load, the PSU stays cool that leads to more system stability.
The Thor PSUs comes with a 135mm IP5X dust-resistant wing-blade fan design that’s also found on some of their higher-end graphics cards. This fan design allows for increased static pressure to cool components efficiently at lower RPMs. If temperatures are cool enough, the fan also supports 0dB functionality so users can get total silence from the PSU.
Aside from having an OLED screen that displays the power consumption at any one time, the ASUS ROG Thor PSUs also comes with RGB that’s compatible with ASUS ROG’s Aura Sync. Here are the full specifications of the ASUS ROG Thor:

Both the 1200W and 850W variants of the ASUS ROG Thor will hit the market by October 2018 and will be available for PhP 20,213 and PhP 13,732, respectively.
