ASUS has officially launched a total of 19 Z690 motherboards for Intel’s 12th Generation Alder Lake processors. Their new lineup consists of the ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, ProArt, and Prime Motherboards – all of which support ASUS Enhanced Memory Profle for Intel 12th Generation CPUs.
Select boards will come with PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, NVMe RAID, Thunderbolt 4, 10Gb Ethernet, and WiFi 6E. Some will still support DDR4 memory but those who have been built for DDR5 memory can bypass its 1.1v limitation to let users freely overclock to get better performance. ASUS has worked with major DDR5 manufacturers such as Adata, Corsair, Crucial, Geil, G.SKILL, Kingston, Klevv, and TeamGroup to ensure high compatibility and stability.
