ASUS is adding another notebook to their VivoBook division with the VivoBook S14 M433. Their latest notebook sports the new AMD Ryzen 4000 series based on the Zen 2 architecture allowing for faster processing speeds and longer battery life compared to previous Ryzen-based notebooks.
The ASUS VivoBook S14 M433 can be decked with either an AMD Ryzen 7 4700U or an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U both of which have Vega 8 graphics. Regardless of processor choice, the notebook will come with 8GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2666MHz and a 512GB PCIe SSD.
Its screen is a 14.0-inch IPS 1920 x 1080 display with an 85% screen-to-body ratio. Although there are laptops with thinner bezels out in the market, ASUS is able to minimize the side bezels to just 5.7mm. It also has a rather thin profile at just 15.9mm and is relatively light weighing in at 1.4kg.
The ASUS VivoBook S14 M433 comes with a 50Wh lithium-polymer battery in order to be used on-the-go. ASUS says that charging takes around 49 minutes to achieve 60% from empty. If you want a longer battery lifespan, ASUS also allows you to choose from three different charging modes from full capacity to maximum lifespan mode.
