The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro was strangely absent when the ZenFone 5 (2018) series was announced. Today, however, the flagship of the ZenFone Max series has arrived. The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 comes with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 as the ZenFone 5 with a larger 5,000mAh battery.

The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro doesn’t come with a notch but it does have a 5.99-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio with a 2160 x 1080 resolution. The screen is also capable of displaying a maximum brightness of 450nits, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, and an 85% NTSC color gamut.

To push all the pixels on its display, the smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 with an Adreno 509 GPU together with 3GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 won’t be called branded a “Max” smartphone if it didn’t have a long battery life. Inside its shell is a 5,000mAh battery that promises 11.3 hours of gaming while on-the-go.1

In terms of imaging, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro with a dual rear camera setup with the primary shooter having a 13MP f/2.2 lens while the secondary camera is a 5MP wide-angle shooter. At the front, meanwhile is an 8MP f/2.0 shooter.
