In a step to further their after-sales service to its end-users, ASUS is offering the ASUS Premium Care (APC) program that extends the international warranty of their products by a full year.
Although the APC program does have a PhP 3,499 premium, customers are getting an added year of warranty to their hard-earned notebook. To upgrade the normal warranty plan, end-users would need to upgrade the service package within 90 days of purchase.
This allows the notebook’s warranty to last for 3 years instead of the standard 2 years when purchasing a device. With global warranty recognized in more than 50 countries world-wide, the APC program is even cheaper to added warranty of other brands that may cost up to PhP 6,300.
Select ASUS and Republic of Gamers users can also have the option to extend their two-year global warranty or change their warranty to a two-year local on-site warranty. This, however, is currently exclusive to users from Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao at this time.
Here’s a list of covered notebooks for the APC program and on-site warranty upgrade:
To check eligibility or avail the on-site warranty eligibility, customers would need to see if their area is covered by ASUS authorized service providers.
Once confirmed if you’re eligible, you would need to register for an ASUS account and register the product and the device to the account. Then you can now proceed to the Service Package Activation tab on the website and put in the APC package details.
To streamline the process, ASUS can also check the warranty status and repairs via the MyASUS mobile app. A 22-day turn-around time is expected to ensure that service requests are smooth and convenient.
The ASUS Premium Care packages are exclusively available only in ASUS and ROG Concept Stores nationwide. Here’s ASUS’ microsite specifically made for the APC program.
