ASUS is refreshing their TUF Gaming notebooks to sport the Zen 2-based Ryzen 4000 processors from AMD. Their new TUF Gaming notebooks will be composed of two variants: the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and the TUF Gaming A17.
Both the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and A17 series sport AMD’s Zen 2-based Ryzen 4000 processors. The notebooks can be decked out with up to 8GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM that can be expanded up to 32GB. In terms of storage, the TUF Gaming A15 and A17 can be equipped with a 2.5-inch 1TB 5400RPM HDD and up to 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD.
Their GPUs are provided by NVIDIA. Depending on the variant, the notebook you prefer can ship with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, a GTX 1660 Ti, or an RTX 2060. The TUF Gaming A15 will have a 15.0-inch 1920 x 1080 display running at 120Hz/144Hz while the larger TUF Gaming A17 comes with a 17.0-inch 1920 x 1080 screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Improvements over previous TUF Gaming notebooks include up to 8% smaller profile, better audio thanks to its DTS:X Ultra surround sound, as well as an improved cooling design. Both notebooks come with self-cleaning dual fans that pushes out air through the honeycomb pattern design at the back.

Like the ASUS VivoBook S14 M433, the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 and A17 are expected to make their appearance next month due to the enhanced community quarantine in the Philippines. Pricing and availability will also be announced sometime in the future.
