Last year, ASUS Republic of Gamers jumped onboard the PSU and AiO market with the ROG Thor and Ryujin AiO, respectively. This Computex 2019, the brand is introducing two new PSUs and a batch of All-in-One coolers positioned just below their flagship components.
The ROG Strix Gold PSUs aims to bring the ROG experience to a more mainstream crowd. While the Thor has an 80+ Platinum Rating, these new PSUs from ROG comes with a 80+ Gold Rating which is a bit more palatable (in terms of price point) to customers.
Available in 750W and 650W models, the ROG Strix Gold range of power supplies come with Japanese Capacitors and is backed by a 10-year warranty. ROG is implementing their trademark Axial Fans found on their GPUs on these new PSUs to deliver a cool and quiet computing experience.
ASUS ROG is using magnetic stickers for the ROG logo on the Strix Gold. This is especially useful since every PC case in the market has different orientations for the PSU mounts. This allows the PSU to have a consistent look across all builds.
ROG is also allowing mainstream users to experience their cooling devices. The new ASUS ROG Strix LC closed-loop coolers promises to deliver high-performance cooling for less compared to last year’s flagship ROG Ryujin coolers.
To bring down costs, ROG has removed the customizable OLED screen in lieu of a static ROG logo at the pump. Of course, the logo is AURA Sync compatible to be consistent with your rig’s color scheme.
Available in 120/240/360mm configurations, the ASUS ROG Strix LC coolers come with ROG-designed radiator fans with both airflow and static pressure. The fans on the radiator come with improved acoustics, have addressable RGB, and are AURA Sync compatible.
