Alongside NVIDIA’s announcement of the Big Format Gaming Display (BFGD), ASUS, one of their long time partners, have also revealed their take on the green team’s BFGDs. The ASUS ROG Swift PG65 comes with a 65-inch panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD), 120Hz refreash rate, and NVIDIA’s G-Sync.
Aside from the sweet gamers perks, the ROG Swift PG65 can deliver 1000nits of peak brightness while its direct-lit full-array LED backlight is controlled across all the zones of the monitor to provide extremely good contrast for better dark scenes.
As for color, the PG65 delivers a cinema-grade DCI-P3 color gamut to provide 25% more color range than sRGB. To remove any kind of color shift with such a large screen, the monitor also provides a viewing angle of 178°. Of course, the PG65 has an NVIDIA Shield integrated inside to provide 4K HDR streaming.
No price or availability yet for the ASUS ROG Swift PG65. We’ll update once we know more about ASUS’ monster monitor.
