ASUS is levelling up their FX lineup of notebooks by introducing The Ultimate Force (TUF) gaming series. The TUF series, originally a lineup exclusive for their motherboards, has been made available for their gaming notebooks to deliver better performance, durability, and a longer warranty.
Like the new Hero and Scar edition notebooks, the FX504 comes Intel’s 8th generation Coffee Lake-H processors for mobile devices. The display is a 15.6-inch 1080p 120Hz IPS display while the GPU can be specced up to an NVIDIA GTX 1060.
Thermals have been improved compared to other iterations of the FX series with a 12V battery as well as anti-dust thermal tunnels. If the fans become too loud for you especially in light workloads, you can turn on the silent mode in order to ease the spinning of the fan.
