The ASUS ROG Keris and Keris Wireless are both arriving in the Philippines within the second half of February. Both devices have been designed with the help of esports professionals and are optimized for FPS games.
Both the ROG Keris and Keris Wireless share the same right-handed profile, which has been optimized for either claw or fingertip grip. Though they share the same design, the former comes with a PMW 3389 sensor while the wireless version has a PAW 3335 sensor.
The sensors on the both mice can reach up to 16,000cpi with a max speed of 400ips. The only real difference on paper is the maximum acceleration. The ROG Keris can tolerate a higher acceleration of 50G while the ROG Keris Wireless can do a maximum of 40G.
The ROG Keris Wireless is a tad heavier at 79g compared to the 62g on the regular Keris. The wireless variant can be used wired, via Bluetooth, or via a dedicated 2.4GHz adapter that can still reach a report rate of 1000Hz.
A total of 7 buttons can be customized on the Keris and Keris Wireless through the ROG Armoury Crate. The left and right buttons are equipped with ASUS’ ROG Micro Switch that can be easily replaced with their push-fit switch sockets. Plastics used on both mice is PBT in order to resist wear or shined even on prolonged use.
The ASUS ROG Keris and Keris Wireless will be available in Philippine retailers within the second half of February for PhP 3,380 and PhP 4,690, respectively.
