While we wait for our Asus GR8 review coming out soon, Asus Republic of Gamers is already taking things to the next level with Steam machines. The ROG GR8S will be coming to PC shops world wide and will bridge the popular ROG, ASUS sub brand PC, and console gaming into one. Although there are more steam machines to watch out for, this will be a first from Asus; specifically for ROG line.
GR8S will be equipped with USB 2.0 for controllers, keyboards and mice, four USB 3.0 SuperSpeed ports, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, which will both support 4K Ultra HD at 60Hz; gigabit Ethernet; digital and analog multi-channel audio connectivity are also available. Asus will be offering i5 and i7 Intel Core vairants with GeForce GTX 900 graphics card. RAM options will go from 4GB to 16GB and will be sold with 500GB to 1TB HDD or 128 to 512GB of SSD storage. Price should not be far from GR8’s current 57,990Php price tag.
