ASUS ROG is refreshing their range of gaming notebooks with the 2022 variants of the ROG Scar 17 Special Edition and the ROG Flow X16. Both notebooks come with top-tier components from NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD.
The Scar 17 Special Edition comes with a custom vapor chamber and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal while the ROG Flow X16 now has an ROG Nebular HDR Display with a QHD mini LED screen.

ROG is also expanding its merch lineup with new entries. All are inspired by cyberpunk and modern themes. ASUS promises that they are built with premium materials and have been designed with their gaming audiences in mind.
ROG Slash lineup come with adjustable straps, multiple compartments, and water-repellent TPU materials. The Crossbody Bag, Backpack, Hip Bag, and Protective Laptop Bag are made to secure essentials while the new Cobra Buckle Cap and Bucket Hat offers style and protection from the elements.
ASUS is expanding the ROG Citadel XV with Scar Runner. Now available on Steam, Scar Runner is a first-person parkour game following the story of X, who is in a race against time to recover critical information. The title also ties in with the physical chassis of the ROG Strix Scar 17 Special Edition, with clues hidden on the laptop itself.
The game will launch alongside a giveaway campaign with more than USD 20,000 prizes available, including the Strix Scar 17 Special Edition and ROG Slash apparel. The promo will run until June 30, 2022 and more information can be found here.
Pricing and availability for the new ASUS ROG Flow X16 (2022), ROG Strix Scar 17 Special Edition (2022), and new ROG Slash gear are yet to be announced by the brand. More information should be provided once they launch locally at a later date.
