ASUS ROG PH outs Intel 10th Gen Zephyrus and Strix gaming notebooks

Introduced to the world a couple of months ago, ASUS ROG Philippines is now ready to bring their newest gaming notebooks powered by Intel’s 10^th Generation processors into the local market.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15

Built on the foundations of the ZenBook Pro Duo, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 integrates two displays without sacrificing thickness. Its main screen is a 15.0-inch IPS panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 300Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB.

Beneath the hood is an Intel Core i9-10980HK with up to 32GB of RAM, up to an NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super GPU, and up to 2TB of PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe storage depending on the configuration you choose. Cooling its internals is the brand’s trademark Active Aerodynamic System that’s now integrate to the secondary screen called ROG ScreenPad.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus S15, S17, and M15

The newest entries in the more traditional Zephyrus lineup, the new refresh of the Zephyrus notebooks will come in several flavors: the S15, S17, and M15.

Let’s start off with the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S15 GX502L. It now comes with an updated 300Hz display that’s been Pantone Validated. In addition, it now has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU, two M.2 NVMe slots for blazing fast storage.

The bigger brother of the S15, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S17 has a 17-inch display with 300Hz refresh rate and is also Pantone Validated. Of course, it has Intel’s 10^th Generation processors as well as up to 32GB of RAM, and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPUs.

Meanwhile, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus M15 GU502L ships with a 15.0-inch 240Hz Pantone Validated display, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU, WiFi 802.11ac, and is available in several colors to fit your preference.

ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15/17

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar series has been updated this year to Intel’s 10^th Generation processors. It can even be outfitted with its flagship processor, the Intel Core i9-10980HK with up to 32GB of RAM and an RTX 2080 GPU. As for its display, it now comes with a faster 300MHz screen with 3ms response time as well as 100% sRGB.

The Keystone II makes a comeback this generation. Basically an NFC key, the Keystone allows you to program quick commands and other functions. Placing the Keystone onto the notebook can also switch performance modes as well as activate a hidden drive on your notebook.

ASUS ROG Strix G15/G17

If you’re looking something more budget-oriented, the ASUS ROG Strix G series might be for you. Although priced a bit lower compared to ROG’s current offerings, the G lineup doesn’t lose any performance.
