A countdown timer has been initiated on the official global page of the ASUS ROG Phone 3. Based on the timer, it seems that the device will be launched internationally on July 22, 2020 at around 11AM in Taiwan.
As their flagship gaming smartphone, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 has already been confirmed to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+. Rumors say that the latest entry in the ROG Phone series won’t be deviating too much from its predecessors in terms of design.
The TENAA listing of the ROG Phone 3 says that it will come with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM variants with 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options. As well as a large 5,800mAh battery to keep you gaming throughout the day. As for cameras, it is said that it will come with a 64MP main camera and a 13MP secondary ultrawide camera.
The ROG Phone 3 might also ship with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 2340 x 1080 resolution. As a gaming smartphone, it will come with a 120Hz refresh rate screen to allow for smoother gameplay.
We expect more information about the upcoming flagship gaming smartphone from ASUS to surface as its July 22, 2020 launch date comes closer.
